The Wedding Spinner is not a typical “DJ Service”
Q: What is a DJ Service?
A: A DJ Service is a company that owns multiple sound systems and computers, each loaded with 30,000 songs. The company hires people to take these sound systems to weddings and play music straight out of the “Wedding DJ Handbook”. Songs played include YMCA, Celebrate, Brick House, and the Hokey Pokey.
I am not a DJ Service! I am The Wedding Spinner! If you hire me, I will be the person at your reception playin the music. Through my years of experience I have been able to determine what songs will keep a dance floor going, and more importantly what will kill the dance floor. From this experience I have developed an arsenal of 50 songs guaranteed to keep the dance floor moving all night long. This arsenal includes the perfect mix of Disco and 80’s, plus the latest Hip Hop and Top 40. I also mix in some slow classics and Country throughout the night, while avoiding the typical “cheesy” wedding songs. The key to keeping the dance floor going is to avoid songs that have been “played out”. Sometimes it’s more important what you don’t play than what you do. There’s nothing worse that having the whole crowd going wild and then playing something to kill the vibe. I’ve seen it happen, it’s not pretty, don’t let it happen at your wedding!
